Amy Wiggin is a multifaceted artist born in Reading who currently lives and works in London, UK. She delves into contemporary concepts of womanhood and partnership in her art practice. Through narrative-driven printmaking and paintings, often infused with explicit and romantic themes, she challenges traditional gender narratives, using humour and bold characters to engage viewers in a collaborative reflection on modern relationships and gender roles.

Amy pursued a BA in Visual Communication from the Glasgow School of Art (2011-2014), further enriched by an Erasmus year at KADK Copenhagen in 2012-2013. Her creative journey also encompasses a Foundation in Art from the London College of Fashion (2007-2008) and a BA in English Literature & History of Art from The University of Leeds (2003-2006). Amy's artistic prowess has garnered recognition through awards and residencies. Notably, she received the SouthCombe Barn Women's Annual Residency in 2022 and participated in the Varda Artists Residency in San Francisco in 2019. She also engaged with the Beta Beta Artists Residency in Scotland in 2016.

Amy's talent has garnered recognition through numerous group exhibitions across the UK. Moreover, her exceptional abilities have attracted a prestigious clientele, including notable publications like VOGUE International, Brummell magazine, Boat International magazine, The Grove Hotel and The Randolph Hotel Oxford to name just a few.
