The Team

  • Co-Founder

Katy Byatt is an ex-lawyer who has spent the last 20 years in the City. She has always been curious about art and the process of creation. Having begun collecting art herself over the last few years, she found herself frustrated with accessing vetted original art online and became driven by a passion for supporting creatives. These frustrations were shared by former colleague Joanna Turney and together they created Artfeed.

After several years of research and planning, Katy is delighted to be launching Artfeed in September 2023.

“I’m incredibly excited to see the role Artfeed will play in shaping how people discover, connect and buy art online in the future. Artfeed is unique. It merges social connectivity with the curation and credibility of a marketplace. It addresses the inadequacies in the existing online offerings and seeks to help artists to build and grow sustainable careers.”

  • Co-Founder

Joanna Turney, a finance professional with a love of interiors and a deep appreciation for aesthetics, developed a curiosity for art, but a busy working lifestyle prevented her from finding the time to explore and access art that resonated with her.

Determined to bridge the gap between her desire for unique art and the constraints of her lifestyle, Joanna, with Co-founder Katy Byatt, embarked on finding a solution.

Joanna is London-based, French-educated and comes from a vibrant blend of Egyptian and Polish heritage. Her multicultural background inspires her deep-rooted appreciation and passion for cultural diversity in artists and artworks.

This commitment to supporting artists from diverse backgrounds and promoting sustainable career growth inspired her to create a platform that fosters a vibrant art community while facilitating the discovery and acquisition of extraordinary artwork.

“Artfeed is a digital community where art enthusiasts, collectors, and artists can connect, collaborate, and appreciate the beauty and creativity that art brings to our lives.

At its core, we are a peer-to-peer platform, where artists can showcase themselves and their work in the way they want - allowing art lovers to immerse themselves into their world and understand the meaning and inspiration behind their creations.

Our mission is to revolutionise the way we discover, experience, purchase and embrace art in the digital age.”
