Barbara Larkin is an artist living and working in West Yorkshire who studied fine art in the UK and Europe. Winner of the Benedict Read Acquisition Prize 2021 she explores the expression of memory as a form through watercolours, oil painting and drawing.
Barbara takes inspiration from the landscapes of the Peaks as well as local industrial and architectural forms. Her most recent painting titled the 'Pipework' series presents a non- linear representation of the passing of time, with its many digressions and distractions.
