Florencia Magallanes
London, United Kingdom
Florencia was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1989. Her artistic interests began from a small age, always faithful to her curious spirit of exploration.
During her teenage years, music and film fed Florencia’s student days as she gradually found a voice in the artistic languages. She studied at Escuela Municipal de Artes Visuales de Lomas de Zamora, graduating with the title of Professor in Visual Arts and Professor of Painting in 2014.
In 2015 Florencia moved to Spain, where she worked on several projects including photography, digital drawings and paintings. Focusing on themes such as sexuality, corporality and eroticism, her work is characterised by the expressive use of colour and eye catching textures, that invite the observer to reflect on a vast range of human emotions and feelings.
Currently living in London, Florencia’s works have been exhibited in numerous museums and galleries and are part of private collections worldwide.
