Valerie Savchits, an artist from Riga, Latvia, and now living and working in Brighton, has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Notably, she is the recipient of Hotel Elephant and Southwark Council Arts & Culture Grant Scheme and she showcased at the 'Future Late' exhibition in Tate Modern.
Inspired by various mythologies and cosmic symbolism, Savchits weaves personal stories and memories into mixed media paintings, readymade installations, and sculptures using diverse materials.
